Our Origin Story

The Cash Flow Visualizer was born out of a simple necessity. Managing budgets using traditional spreadsheets is effective, but it often lacks the intuitive visual clarity needed to truly understand where your money is going. We wanted a way to see our financial flow at a single glance.

The project started as a weekend hackathon—famously built "drunk on a saturday morning" by Olo Deepdelver in February 2026. What began as a fun coding exercise quickly evolved into a powerful, user-friendly web application designed to help everyone take back control of their personal finances.

Our Mission

We believe that financial literacy should be accessible to everyone. Complex financial tools often come with steep learning curves or expensive paywalls. Our mission is to provide a completely free, highly intuitive, and aesthetically pleasing Sankey diagram maker that empowers individuals to analyze their income, optimize their expenses, and plan their savings effectively.

Sankey diagrams are uniquely suited for visualizing cash flow. By representing financial amounts as proportional arrows, they allow you to instantly identify the largest sources of income and the biggest drains on your budget.
