If you use the Cash Flow Visualizer without creating an account, none of your financial data is ever stored on our servers. All budget inputs, calculations, and chart generation happen entirely within your local browser session. Once you close the tab, your entered data is completely gone unless you explicitly choose to export it to a local file on your device.

Registered User Data

If you choose to create an account for the convenience of saving your budgets across devices:

We securely store your email/username, encrypted password, and the budget data you input (saved in an optimized, secure YAML format) in our database. This is solely to provide you with the save and load functionality.

We Do Not Sell Your Data

We guarantee that we will never sell, rent, or share your personal or financial data with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers. The tool is built for your benefit, not to monetize your personal information.

Analytics and Cookies

We may use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand general website traffic and usage patterns to help us improve the tool. We do not use intrusive tracking cookies or cross-site trackers.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time through the "Delete Account" option in the sidebar. Technically, this process completely wipes your user profile, encrypted credentials, and all saved budget configurations from our databases. Please note that this action is irreversible and your data cannot be recovered once the deletion is processed.
